1. Promoter
The promoter is Mentone Furniture Clearance Centre, 65A Grange Road, Cheltenham VIC 3192, phone (03) 8522 2115 (the Promoter). Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these terms. By entering, you accept these terms.
2. Promotion period
The promotion starts at 9:00am AEDT on 1 November 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 15 December 2026 (the Promotion Period). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted. The Promoter’s records of when an entry was received are final.
3. Who can enter
- Entry is open to Victorian residents aged 18 or over who have bought a product from the Promoter, in store or online, at any time before or during the Promotion Period.
- Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families (spouse, partner, parent, child or sibling) cannot enter.
- The Promoter may ask the winner for proof of age, address and purchase (for example an invoice or order number) before awarding the prize.
4. How to enter
- Take a photo and/or video of the product you bought from the Promoter, set up and styled in your home.
- Submit it during the Promotion Period, either through the entry form at mentonefurnitureclearance.com.au/win-500, or by direct message to the Promoter’s Facebook or Instagram page with your full name, phone number, suburb and (if you have it) your invoice or order number.
- One entry per person. You can include up to 5 photos and/or videos in your entry, but you will only go into the draw once.
- Entry is free. You do not need to like, follow, share or tag anyone to enter.
5. Your photos and videos
- Your photos and videos must be your own, taken by you or by someone who has given you permission to submit them, and must clearly show a product bought from the Promoter.
- They must not show any person under 18, or any other person who has not agreed to appear. They must not include anything offensive, unlawful or that infringes anyone else’s rights. The Promoter may reject any entry that does not meet these rules.
- By entering, you give the Promoter a free, non-exclusive, worldwide and permanent licence to use, copy, edit, crop and publish your photos and videos (and your first name and suburb, if credited) in its marketing, including on its website, social media, advertising, catalogues and in store, without further payment or approval. You keep ownership of your photos and videos. The Promoter will try to credit you where practical.
6. Prize
There is one prize of $500 cash (AUD), paid by bank transfer to the winner within 14 days of the winner’s identity and eligibility being confirmed. The total prize value is $500. The prize cannot be transferred.
7. The draw
- This is a game of chance. Skill plays no part in deciding the winner.
- The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries at 12:00pm AEDT on 16 December 2026 at 65A Grange Road, Cheltenham VIC 3192, using a computerised random selection.
- The winner will be contacted by phone and email within 2 business days of the draw. The winner’s first name, last initial and suburb will be published on the Promoter’s Facebook and Instagram pages and website within 7 days of the draw.
- If the winner cannot be contacted, does not claim the prize, or is found to be ineligible by 5:00pm AEDT on 23 December 2026, a redraw will take place at 12:00pm AEDT on 24 December 2026 at the same place, and the new winner will be contacted and published in the same way.
8. General
- The Promoter may disqualify any entry it reasonably believes is ineligible, fraudulent, or made in breach of these terms.
- If the promotion cannot run as planned for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may change, suspend or end it, subject to any direction from a relevant regulator.
- Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss arising from the promotion or the prize, except for loss caused by the Promoter’s negligence.
- The winner is responsible for any tax that may apply to the prize. Seek your own advice if unsure.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram (Meta). You are providing your information to the Promoter, not to Meta.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria.
9. Privacy
The Promoter collects your personal information to run this promotion, contact the winner and, if you ask, send you sale alerts.
