The tables

• Oslo 220cm: a spacious rectangular table that comfortably seats 6 to 8 people, in natural, walnut and black. The Oslo used in our dining sets measures 220cm long and 100cm wide.
• Capri 240cm Natural: a generous 240cm top in a soft natural timber finish, made for larger dining spaces and open-plan living.
• Dorcas Extendable: extends from 180cm to 220cm long, 90cm wide and 75cm high, in natural and walnut.
• Donovan Extendable (natural): seats 4 to 6 people, and up to 8 when extended.

Fixed or extendable?

A fixed 220cm or 240cm table makes a strong statement and suits rooms with space to spare. An extendable table suits homes that need a smaller table day to day but host larger gatherings. See our extendable dining table guide.

How much space do you need?

Allow at least 90cm between the table edge and walls or other furniture so chairs can slide out and people can walk past. Allow about 60cm of table length per person. Our dining table size guide has a full chart.

Styling ideas

• Use two pendant lights or one long linear pendant over a long table.
• Natural timber suits Scandinavian, coastal and Japandi homes: pair it with white, sage or beige chairs. Walnut suits mid-century and warm modern homes: pair it with olive green or cream. Black suits contemporary homes: pair it with beige or white chairs.
• Keep the centrepiece low and long, such as a runner with a few vases, so guests can see each other.
