Kito Leather Sofa Range: 3 Seater, Modular and Chaise Sets with Ottoman

A guide to the Kito tan leather sofa range: the 3 seater, the modular lounge, LHF and RHF chaise sets with ottoman, where each suits and how to style tan leather.
Kito 3 Seater Leather Sofa | Premium Tan Leather Couch Melbourne

The Kito is one of the most popular leather ranges in our Cheltenham showroom. It pairs warm tan leather with clean, modern lines, and it comes in several configurations, so you can choose the size and shape that fits your room: a 3 seater, a modular lounge, chaise sets in left-hand or right-hand facing with a matching ottoman, and the ottoman on its own.

What is in the Kito range

  • Kito 3 Seater Leather Sofa: upholstered in rich tan top-grain cowhide leather. A good fit for apartments, townhouses and smaller living rooms.
  • Kito Modular Leather Sofa: a flexible modular layout for open-plan living, so you can arrange the seating around the way you use the room.
  • Kito Tan Leather Sofa with Ottoman, LHF or RHF: a chaise configuration with a matching ottoman. Choose LHF if you want the chaise on your left as you face the sofa, or RHF for the right. Our LHF vs RHF guide explains how to choose.
  • Kito Ottoman: a footrest, extra seat or soft coffee table that matches the range.

Why tan leather works so well

Tan leather is warm, easy to live with and develops a richer patina over time. It suits mid-century, Scandinavian, industrial, coastal and warm modern homes, and it hides everyday wear better than very pale upholstery.

Where the Kito suits

The 3 seater suits apartments and smaller lounge rooms, placed opposite the TV or facing a window. The modular and chaise sets suit larger family rooms and open-plan spaces, where they can help define the living zone. Add the ottoman if you like to put your feet up, or if you need flexible extra seating when guests arrive.

How to style a tan leather sofa

  • Ground it with a textured jute or wool rug large enough for the front legs to sit on.
  • Soften the leather with cream or oatmeal throws and linen cushions, and add one deeper accent such as olive green or rust.
  • Pair it with walnut or natural timber, black metal lighting and leafy green plants.
  • Choose a coffee table about two-thirds the length of the sofa, set 40 to 45cm from the seat edge.

Caring for leather

Dust weekly with a soft dry cloth, wipe spills straight away, keep the sofa out of direct sun and away from heaters, and condition the leather every 6 to 12 months. See our leather sofa care guide.

Common questions

What leather is the Kito sofa made from?

The Kito 3 Seater is upholstered in tan top-grain cowhide leather, and the rest of the range is finished in the same warm tan leather.

Should I choose the LHF or RHF Kito set?

Stand facing where the sofa will go. If the chaise should be on your left, choose LHF; if it should be on your right, choose RHF. Think about doorways, windows and where the TV sits.

Can I buy the Kito ottoman separately?

Yes. The Kito Ottoman is sold on its own, so you can add it to the 3 seater or the modular sofa.
